We are excited to be able to offer a full time primary care network clinical pharmacist opportunity within our surgery in Haverhill working for the Suffolk GP Federation. The individual will work with a highly-skilled, well supported and forward thinking clinical team. We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, motivated and wanting to offer the very best up to date patient care.
The role will be patient facing and include all aspects of medicines management across both long term and acute presentations. You will be a key member of the clinical pharmacy practice team working alongside pharmacists and pharmacy technicians reporting to the senior pharmacist. You will also be involved in processing Econsult queries from patients.
The individual will undertake the Centre for Postgraduate Pharmacy Education training (CPPE) programme to become if not already an independent pharmacist prescriber.
The Suffolk GP Federation is a non-profit organisation owned by 57 GP practices. Our aim is to find innovative solutions to the challenges currently faced by the NHS while at the same time protecting the interests of general practice and ensuring that patients continue to receive the very best care.
The successful candidate will be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. You will also need to have an appreciation of the nature of GPs and general practices and good interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills.
