We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Co-Ordinator to join our Cervical Screening Project Team. We are looking for someone with high energy & enthusiasm and experience of organising and enabling teams, who thrives on variety and bringing people together.
You will work specifically within our Cervical Screening Project – a project which aims to increase the uptake of cervical screening amongst specific groups including:
- Women who have never had a smear;
- Women aged 25-49 – no smear in 4 years;
- Women aged 50-64 - no smear in 6 years;
- Deprivation;
- Learning Difficulties and Mental health;
- LGBT+; and
- Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME)
You’ll be the team’s line manager and will help ensure highly responsive co-production with a range of stakeholders including Primary Care Health Professionals, key health influencers, health organisations, outreach, charities and service users.
There are two main parts to your role; project coordination and project communication & marketing. You will be the first point of contact for all queries and issues relating to the project, coordinate the key stakeholders, attend project meetings, keep the project plan up to date and support other project team members. You’ll also write external publications, videos, leaflets and service brochures and develop a range of marketing and communication content with a focus on collaboration.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and conscientious with excellent organisation skills and the ability to multi-task. You’ll be able to work autonomously and from your own initiative and have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the experience of forming effective working relationships with colleagues in order to achieve common goals. You’ll also have experience of developing a range of marketing and communication content in a range of formats. Line management experience is desirable.
