Are you looking to do something a bit different? We are looking for drivers to join our Out of Hours Service in Suffolk.
If you’ve got good driving experience and good people skills, you’ve got what it takes to be an integral part of our service delivery team.
You’ll be supporting our clinicians to deliver the Out of Hours service, including driving clinicians to carry out home visits and providing support to patients visiting our one of eight bases across Suffolk.
What will I do?
Main responsibilities include
- Driving the clinicians to the patients’ homes.
- Carry out reception duties at the base including welcoming the visiting patients.
- Carryout with health and safety and other necessary cyclical checks.
What we are looking for:
- Individuals who are self-motivated, organised and flexible
- You need to be caring and sensitive of the needs of patients
- Have the ability to work alone and part of a wider team.
What we can offer:
The hours of work are very flexible with the option of having regular hours if this is a preference. The driver role is required at all times during the service (including overnights) and so we can discuss individual work patterns with applicants.
We are looking for several drivers to specifically cover:
- Haverhill;
- Mildenhall;
- Bury;
- Ipswich
- Saxmundham
- Sudbury
- Stowmarket

Flexible hours to be worked between:
Weekdays: 18:30 – 08:00
Weekends & bank holidays: 08:00 – 23:59
Pay:
Weekday evening £10 per hour
Weekday nights £12.50 per hour
Weekend evening £10 per hour
Weekend nights £12.50 per hour
