We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our small, friendly team at the Minor Injuries Clinic in Felixstowe, recently rated 'Good' by CQC.
Applicants will need experience in wound care, phlebotomy, health promotion and basic computer skills (knowledge of SystmOne would be desirable but training will be given).
The post holder will have responsibility for supporting with chaperone duties, preparing and supporting specific clinics such as minor surgery and ageing-well . You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment in line with infection control and prevention procedures ensuring clinic rooms are clean, stocked and maintained. As we are a small unit the post-holder will be required to assist with reception cover - training will also be given for this role.
