We are excited to be able to offer a Receptionist and Admin Support opportunity within our Minor Injury Clinic, Felixstowe, working for Suffolk GP Federation CIC including daytime, evening, weekends and bank holiday shift patterns.

What’s the role?

  • You’ll work with a highly-skilled, well supported and forward-thinking team
  • You’ll be patient facing and your role will include all elements of the receptionist and admin service
  • You’ll contribute to the smooth running of the service
  • queries from patients on our electronic consultation system.

Our Minor Injuries Clinic in Felixstowe provides an appointment-only service for patients in our local area.

We see patients with minor injuries, support with phlebotomy and wound dressings as well as running leg ulcer dressing and minor operations as required by local GPs.

The Suffolk GP Federation is a non-profit organisation owned by 57 GP practices. Our aim is to find innovative solutions to the challenges currently faced by the NHS while at the same time protecting the interests of general practice and ensuring that patients continue to receive the very best care.

Is it for me?

We will make sure you are fully inducted and trained; there will be regular constructive supervision in place. It’s important to us that you feel safe and supported in your role

  • You’d be suited to this role if you are organised, good at communicating, calm polite and well-motivated
  • You’ll need to have an understanding of the importance of patient confidentiality and have experience of working in an environment with public contact. are enthusiastic, motivated and wanting to offer the very best up to date patient care.
  • It would be great if you had previous experience of working in a healthcare setting and knowledge of SystmOne (our clinical system) but this isn’t essential – we will make sure you are supported in learning this.

Working pattern: Monday 8am-12pm ; Wednesday 8am-12pm, Friday 4pm-8pm, Sunday 9am- 4pm
