Unity Service Director
We have a unique opportunity for a Service Director to join Unity Healthcare GP Practice.
This exciting opening has come about following a review of the Practice’s management structure after the successful launch of the Unity Healthcare Hub model.
Unity’s new Hub model is a transformative approach designed to enhance patient care and staff well-being. It allows us to address the limitations of physical clinical space by providing dedicated clinical office space where patient contact is managed remotely through triage and consultations. Face-to-face appointments continue at our three existing sites (Haverhill, Long Melford, Lavenham).
Our attention is on developing our workforce model to support our growing organisation. Our clinical staff have a ‘portfolio role’, rotating between ‘Speed Triager’, ‘Hub Remote Consultor’, ‘Face-to-face clinician’ and ‘GP Site Lead’.
We are also making a significant investment in a new, larger management structure in order to meet Unity’s 2028 vision which includes:
- Embedded in our local community especially INTs with close partnership with WSFT.
- An enlarged senior leadership team drawn from across all clinical groups and managers
- A ‘reimagined’ working environment and workflow which addresses current challenges and is attractive to work in
- The most advanced user of technology in Suffolk general practice
- A practice where individuals come to work, learn and then move on to share Unity’s vision.
A new Senior Leadership Team has been created, with new roles including Clinical Director, Service Director, Clinical Services Manager, Systems & Change Manager, HR Manager and Practice Manager.
Specifically, we are looking for a Service Director as part of this investment in our Workforce to lead Unity Healthcare and be the external face of the practice.
