We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity for a Lead Practice Nurse to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality patient care whilst leading and supporting our dedicated primary care nursing team.

We're looking for someone with a passion for healthcare, strong general practice experience, and the ability to inspire and guide the team to excellence.

What’s the role?

  • You will lead, manage and deliver a range of practice nursing services and be accountable for the nursing team on a day-to-day basis
  • You’ll foster a learning environment, supporting the training and development of the nursing team
  • You’ll lead on ensuring the nursing services are compliant with CQC and other regulatory authority’s requirements
  • You’ll champion and lead quality improvement initiatives within the nursing service

The Unity Practice is run by Suffolk GP Federation CIC, a not-for-profit community interest company.

Contract specifics

This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday based across the Unity sites: Haverhill, Long Melford and Lavenham. Travel between sites will be necessary.

  • You’ll need to be a registered nurse, with valid NMC registration and evidence of up-to-date practice
  • You’ll need proven experience of working in primary care
  • You will need experience in managing a team.
