Brief Description

Unity Salaried GP

We are excited to share that we now have a new opening for a salaried GP to join the Unity Healthcare Team following positive growth in the organisation. We are running several surgery sites across Haverhill, Long Melford and Lavenham, enabled by the opening of our Triage and Operational Hub in March 2025.

What’s unique about Unity?

We are a fully salaried GP team, employed by the supportive Suffolk GP Federation.

Unity’s new Hub model is a transformative approach designed to enhance patient care and staff well-being. It allows us to address the limitations of physical clinical space by providing dedicated clinical office space where patient contact is managed remotely through triage and consultations. Face-to-face appointments continue at our three existing sites (Haverhill, Long Melford, Lavenham).

As part of our commitment to supporting organisational growth, Unity Healthcare has developed a forward-thinking workforce model. Our clinical team benefits from dynamic portfolio roles, rotating through key responsibilities such as Speed Triage, Hub Remote Consultor, Face-to-Face Clinician, and GP Site Lead. This approach ensures variety and professional development, enabling our clinicians to fully utilise and expand their expertise within a supportive and innovative environment.

We are strengthening our clinical and operational leadership to deliver on Unity’s 2028 vision. This new position will report directly to a senior clinician, ensuring strong clinical input and a clear focus on patient care at every level.

  • Embedded in our local community; working with the integrated neighbourhood teams in partnership with West Suffolk Foundation Trust.
  • An open and transparent culture where all staff are empowered and can engage in Unity’s decision making.
  • An enlarged senior leadership team drawn from across all clinical groups and managers
  • A ‘reimagined’ working environment and workflow which addresses current challenges and is attractive to work in
  • The most advanced user of technology in Suffolk general practice.
  • A practice where individuals come to work, learn share and promote Unity’s vision.
