We are looking for a Dispenser to join our team at our Long Melford Practice.
What’s the role?
- The main purpose of the role is to process prescription requests
- You’ll make sure that prescriptions and medications are issued safely to patients
- You’ll also be responsible for answering the telephone and resolving patient queries.
The Unity Practice is run by Suffolk GP Federation CIC, a not-for-profit community interest company.

- You’d be suited to this role if you have a caring and empathetic nature
- It’s important that you can work well as part of a team as well as independently
- You’ll need to be able to pick up new IT systems with supportive training
- You’ll need to be able to remain cool under pressure and to multitask on a daily basis
- Absolute discretion is required in protecting patient confidentiality.
Contract type
This role is part-time, working 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
