Brief Description

What is the role?

As an Administrator within the ME/CFS & Long COVID Service, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive a professional, efficient and compassionate service. Working as part of a supportive administration team, you will coordinate referrals, appointments and patient communications while providing high-quality administrative support to the wider multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing patient referrals, appointments and clinical waiting lists using SystmOne.
  • Providing professional telephone and email support to patients, GPs and healthcare professionals.
  • Preparing clinics and ensuring clinicians have the information required to deliver safe and effective care.
  • Processing clinical correspondence and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Supporting the administration of multidisciplinary team meetings and service activities.
  • Working closely with clinicians to ensure patient pathways are managed efficiently.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of administrative processes and patient experience.

You'll join our ME/CFS & Long COVID Service.

We are an organisation whose purpose is to support Primary Care across Suffolk through collaborative working and the delivery of high-quality NHS community services. Our ME/CFS & Long COVID Service provides specialist assessment, support and advice for patients living with complex long-term conditions, working alongside primary, secondary and community care partners across Suffolk and North East Essex.
