Clinical Nurse Specialist Continence Service
We are looking for a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist
What is the role?
As a Band 6 clinical nurse specialist you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive a professional, efficient and compassionate service. Providing training to junior members of the team, working with the team lead in managing the team. You will be providing specialist knowledge to your colleagues, other health professionals and patients and leading clinics.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing patient referrals, appointments and clinical waiting lists using SystmOne.
- Providing professional face-to-face, telephone and email support to patients
- Leading clinics
- Providing training to junior members of staff.
- Providing specialist knowledge to patients, carers, colleagues and other professionals.
- Working closely with clinicians to ensure patient pathways are managed efficiently.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the continence service and patient experience.
You'll join our Continence Service.
We are an organisation whose purpose is to support Primary Care across Suffolk through collaborative working and the delivery of high-quality NHS community services. Our continence service provides bladder, bowel and stoma care to the people of Suffolk, working alongside primary, secondary and community care partners across Suffolk and North East Essex.
