At Unity Healthcare we are looking for a compassionate, experienced and highly organised Phlebotomist to join our friendly and supportive primary care team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in patient care by delivering high-quality blood collection services across our four sites (Haverhill, Long Melford, Lavenham and Glemsford) and supporting the wider clinical team in providing excellent healthcare to our local community.

What is the role?
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, efficient and professional phlebotomy service to our patients, ensuring samples are collected, labelled and processed accurately. You will work closely with the wider clinical team to support patient care, maintain clinical standards and contribute to the smooth running of our treatment room services. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a caring approach, as you will regularly support patients who may be anxious about blood tests. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, adhering to infection prevention and control procedures, managing clinical stock within your area of work and helping to ensure an excellent patient experience at all times. As part of a multidisciplinary practice team, you will be expected to work collaboratively and contribute to the delivery of high-quality primary care services.

Contract:
This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday based across the Unity sites: Haverhill, Long Melford, Lavenham and Glemsford. Travel between sites will be necessary.
