PCN Pharmacy Technician
We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team based at Unity Healthcare, Haverhill.
What is the role?
- Be part of the practice pharmacy team with a positive, patient focussed supportive culture which transfers work from GPs.
- Build relationships with GP practices to facilitate a good working relationship
- Working with the practice pharmacist team to respond to medication queries including acute
medication requests, patient medication queries or any medication related issue triaged by GP
practice team to the pharmacy technician appointment list.
- Speaking to patients and members of the healthcare team including doctors, nurses and receptionists.
- Liaising with local pharmacies.
- Undertake Econsult (electronic online triage system) administration queries.

You’ll join our practice, Unity Healthcare based in Haverhill which is run by Suffolk GP Federation. We are a not-for-profit, community interest company and our main purpose is to support Primary Care across Suffolk, including support with working collaboratively and at scale. We also deliver a portfolio of NHS services across Suffolk and North East Essex, including Podiatry, Ultrasound, Diabetes, as well as Urgent Care Services including the Out of Hours face-to-face Service in Suffolk.

- Monday, Thursday and Friday 08:00-18:30
